This project involved the design of large scale formal gardens, the rejuvenation and re-landscaping of the valley and the design and planting of a mixed woodland walk.  The client was very hands on with the project and the design went through a number of changes before it was complete.

Alasdair was responsible for the design of all the garden elements including the layout and specification of all the hard landscaping and planting.  This included the bespoke stone elements such as the balustrading, coping to all the walls, Yorkstone paving and the front gate pillars amongst others.

The client's brief was for the gardens to appear as mature as possible from the outset, this meant that the plants had to be hand sourced from both the UK and Europe and in some cases individually selected by Alasdair to ensure the correct size and shape.
